5/27/14, 2014 Draft - What a Mockery!
On this week's show, we discussed Andre Ellington's value, Sammy Watkins' Value and how old Tom Brady feels inside. We also ran through an entire mock draft during the show. We discuss our picks, our logic behind them and all the beers Dave brought back from Wisconsin.
This week, surprisingly, we did not place any bets. I know it's tradition, but we've placed plenty this year. We also were without a new Game of Thrones episode this week but we still reminisced about what we've seen so far this season. We also discussed the new AMC show "Halt and Catch Fire" . It looks promising and it's about computers, so basically we're sold. We may return to this show after Game of Thrones is over.

5/20/14, 2014 Draft - Grillin' Fools, Fantasy Rookie Report, Joffrey Impersonations
Welcome back to Studio 265, featuring special guest, our Rookie Expert, Shawn Foss. We talked about many things regarding the NFL, including guys named Sankey and Savage. We continued, as is tradition, making bets and dragging our friends down with us.
We looked at the Vegas odds and bet on the teams that we thought would outperform their line the most. The losers will buy bombers for a show at the end of the year, and the winner shall rejoice in free beer. The lines are: Dave - Steelers 8.5 Wins, Shawn - Buccaneers 7.0, Jason - Jets 7.0.
Finally, we wrapped up talking about Game of Thrones. Apparently, the only guests that we have on the show are also rabid Thrones fans, and I'm ok with that. We break down lots of the happenings in last week's episode and get a few thoughts from a non-book reader. Next week, we'll talk about some other shows as Game of Thrones is taking Memorial Day off.

5/13/14, 2014 Draft - I Have a Pork Headache, All the Manziels, Trial by Combat
It's hockey night! Of course I wish that were true, and it's probably Dave's biggest nightmare (the drinkfive Hockey Podcast). As I write this, the Hawks are in OT in Game 6 of the second round of the Stanley Cup playoffs, and I've still got the draft on my mind. On tonight's episode, we started diving into the draft with two of the top 3 QB's taken.
We got into the latest episode of Game of Thrones, and got to some legitimate prognostication, as we're firmly entrenched in some material that Dave has never read. We're excited for the rest of the season, check out my review of this week's episode here.
Next week make sure you guys join us because we'll get really far into all the fantasy relevant rookies with our Rookie Expert, Shawn Foss. We get a chance to pick his brain, so make sure you call in or ask questions in the chat room. We'll be back with more beer, more football, and probably more pork.

5/06/14, 2014 Draft - Jadeveon, First of His Name
Welcome back to Studio 265 on the eve of the 2014 NFL Draft. This week we hit on several teams that we haven't gotten to yet this offseason, including the Chargers, Chiefs, Saints and Falcons. We also talked about the Dolphins, but this writer thinks they're fantasy kryptonite and should be avoided like the plague.
We had a few beers, as is tradition. This week, we enjoyed the Gigantic IPA and Ruhstaller Black IPA. Both were delicious and we will likely have them again some time.
No bets were placed on this week's show, but perhaps we'll bet on a round of disc golf again next week for the "honor" of buying next week's beers. We'll also have plenty of reaction from the draft and stay tuned to Shawn Foss joining us soon to break down all the fantasy relevant rookies.
