Jay Cutler for MVP! All the analysts appear to be drinking the Jay Cutty kool-aid, a fine flavor indeed. It will be Jay's 2nd season with Marc Trestman and everybody in Chicago is chomping at the bit to see if he will continue to progress under Trestman's tutelage. If Jay stays healthy he should be able to put up monster numbers with Jeffery and Marshall hauling in balls.
Jay isn't the only QB going into his 2nd season with their respective play caller.
Phillip Rivers put up huge numbers in his first year with Head coach Mike McCoy and I would expect more of the same this season. More familiarity will bring more success. The Chargers finished the year out strong last season and were a team nobody wanted to see in the playoffs. Keenan Allen was a candidate for rookie of the year with the numbers he put up last year. Usually first year wide-outs struggle and don't really come on until their 2nd season which should get Chargers fans very excited about Allen and the team's offense.
These last three guys I will mention are ones that I think you can get after the top guys are taken. Ben Roethlisberger had a consistent year last season and will benefit from a healthy Bell at the start of the season. Eli Manning will bounce back from a down season under new offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo, a guy brought in for the sole purpose of improving Eli. This last guy I stumbled upon while researching last season's fantasy points for this article. I couldn't believe it but Andy Dalton was the #4 QB in one of my leagues behind Manning, Brees and Newton. This guy does not pass the eye test and wets the bed every post season, but with all the weapons he has in Cincinnati he should continue to produce in the regular season.
