5/06/14, 2014 Draft - Jadeveon, First of His Name
Welcome back to Studio 265 on the eve of the 2014 NFL Draft. This week we hit on several teams that we haven't gotten to yet this offseason, including the Chargers, Chiefs, Saints and Falcons. We also talked about the Dolphins, but this writer thinks they're fantasy kryptonite and should be avoided like the plague.
We had a few beers, as is tradition. This week, we enjoyed the Gigantic IPA and Ruhstaller Black IPA. Both were delicious and we will likely have them again some time.
No bets were placed on this week's show, but perhaps we'll bet on a round of disc golf again next week for the "honor" of buying next week's beers. We'll also have plenty of reaction from the draft and stay tuned to Shawn Foss joining us soon to break down all the fantasy relevant rookies.
Make sure to join us next week, live at 9pm CST on blogtalk radio (www.blogtalkradio.com/drinkfive). You can now sign up for our newsletter on the side panel of our website. We will send you direct updates during the season including all the info you need to set your lineups. Send us your questions and we'll answer them on the podcast. 8/19/14, Draft Prep, AFC/NFC South, Memorial Day
This week we lined up four delicious beers and took them down in order of hoppiness. We started with a Two Brother’s Domain DuPage, and then there was the Sierra Nevada Torpedo Extra IPA. After that, perhaps in honor of the Doctor’s return this week, we went all timey-wimey. We had a Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA and finished it off in style with their 120 Minute IPA.
Enough gushing over the beers we got to have during the show, let’s get down to football. We didn’t have a whole lot to discuss regarding Week 2’s preseason games because we wanted to continue with covering all of the fantasy players in the league. This week, we covered the NFC and AFC south and basically anyone who is relevant in that division.
Finally, we touched on the newest episode of “The Leftovers”. The season is really heating up with only 2 episodes left. Make sure you don’t miss any of Dave’s reviews, here’s his latest one.

7/15/14, Jimmy Graham Wins, Matt Jamison Loses
On this episode, we go through another mock draft, but this time it was a PPR draft. We fill the time talking about all the good beer we've been drinking lately, but mostly about Dave's awesome chili.
Later on in the show, we talk about Jimmy Graham's new contract and his semi-victory in his arbitration case. Finally, we got into the third episode of HBO's "The Leftovers", check out Dave's review of it here.

7/29/14, Training Camp, Rookie Report, Poor Gladys
This week we're joined by our rookie expert, Shawn Foss, who provided plenty of insight regarding what to expect from rookies this upcoming season. Also, as is tradition, we enjoyed several great beers. First on the list was the Shoreline Discombobulation Celebration from 2011. Next up was Ruinten from Stone Brewing, my personal favorite of the night. Last of all was the Rhinelander Imperial Jack Double IPA.
Tonight we talked about some of the recent training camp stories, including Ray Rice, guys with new paper, Kyle Rudolph and the upcoming Hall of Fame game. We then picked Shawn's brain for some rookie knowledge. We brought up most of the rookies that have the potential to make an impact on this year and discussed their chances to be on your team this year.
Finally, we talked about HBO's "The Leftovers", which we're now halfway through season 1. I think we all agree that we like this show and will stick with it, but it's still universally seen as one of the most depressing shows going. Make sure to check out Dave's review of the episode here.
