Fantasy football strategy, rankings, and podcasts

The NFC East division includes the Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Redskins. While the Cowboys had an impressive season at 12-4 but were knocked out of the playoffs by the Green Bay Packers, the Redskins were unable to turn their acquisition of new WR1 Desean Jackson into a winning record and fell to a dismal 4-12 record. On this week's podcast, we go through the off-season moves of each of those teams and break down their fantasy implications. Which guys will capitalize and which will suffer?

Every year, the fantasy football draft is one of the most important and fun moments of the season for fantasy team managers. Going into a draft there are many things that you need to keep in mind if you have any chance of winning the championship. What strategy, if any, will you employ during the draft? Will you be drinking copious amount of craft beers? Are you knowledgeable enough about the players in the league to be able to target and draft later round picks that will perform well over the course of the season? Well, it's finally here. I keep saying that but I feel like it's been such a long time since I've seen a real, honest-to-goodness NFL game and Week 1 is just around the corner now. With so many juicy match-ups this week, we have a blast on this podcast just going over all of the games scheduled to air and some of our takeaways from them. Highlighting Under the Radar guys in Week 1 should help some fantasy managers out there be aware of the talent on every NFL team just waiting to bust out. Now that we've identified some of these guys, we'll continue to bring them up on podcasts going forward and will surely recommend some of these guys as pickups in the coming weeks.

Remember that the best thing that you can do for yourself as a fantasy team manager is to pay attention to all of the news and stats that come out after each week. The difference between a winning and losing season can easily be one waiver wire pickup that you overlooked because you didn't have time.
