Guess who’s back! Back again! Um…well…it’s me!
More so than that, it’s football!
I think we all should take a moment to thank college football for providing an adequate couple of weeks of televised football to hold us over…but we are all ready for that first Sunday!
I don’t know about you, but seven months is LONG enough, let’s get back at it!
Week 1 – HERE WE GO!!!!
(HOME TEAM IN CAPS)
16 – WASHINGTON over New York Giants – I think it’s really telling of the gap in the NFC East that…
15 – PHILADELPHIA over Dallas – …their two division matchups sit at the top of our sheet this week.
14 – DENVER over Tennessee – I like Cam Ward…but not when his debut includes Patrick Surtain
13 – Cincinnati over CLEVELAND – The Bengals will need to put up 45 points a game to compensate for their defense … a game against the Browns should be good practice.
12 – LOS ANGELES RAMS over Houston – The Rams season will depend on the dependability of Matthew Stafford’s heath
11 – JACKSONVILLE over Carolina – Let’s be honest, the only things we are all looking at in this game is Travis Hunter.
10 – Pittsburgh over NEW YORK JETS – It’s the Aaron Rodgers Bowl! Yeah that’s about as exciting as this game will be.
9 – Miami over INDIANAPOLIS – Remember what I said about Matthew Stafford? Yeah, that, but for Tyreek
8 – Tampa Bay over ATLANTA – I don’t know what to call the opposite of the BOLD PREDICTION, but Tampa will win the NFC South this year.
7 – LOS ANGELES CHARGERS over Kansas City – Wind of change blowing? The first BOLD PREDICTION of the year is that THE CHIEFS AFC WEST CHAMPIONSHIP STREAK COMES TO AN END THIS SEASON.
6 – SEATTLE over San Francisco – It will be interesting to see what Sam Darnold can do without Justin Jefferson
5 – Las Vegas over NEW ENGLAND – New season, same ol’ homer picks : )
4 – Arizona over NEW ORLEANS – This game will happen…so…there’s that.
3 – BUFFALO over Baltimore – A win here will go a long way towards a home game in the inevitable January rematch.
2 – GREEN BAY over Detroit – I think it’s really telling of how close the NFC North will be that…
1 – Minnesota over CHICAGO – …their two division matchups sit at the bottom of our sheet this week.
