5/20/14, 2014 Draft - Grillin' Fools, Fantasy Rookie Report, Joffrey Impersonations
Welcome back to Studio 265, featuring special guest, our Rookie Expert, Shawn Foss. We talked about many things regarding the NFL, including guys named Sankey and Savage. We continued, as is tradition, making bets and dragging our friends down with us.
We looked at the Vegas odds and bet on the teams that we thought would outperform their line the most. The losers will buy bombers for a show at the end of the year, and the winner shall rejoice in free beer. The lines are: Dave - Steelers 8.5 Wins, Shawn - Buccaneers 7.0, Jason - Jets 7.0.
Finally, we wrapped up talking about Game of Thrones. Apparently, the only guests that we have on the show are also rabid Thrones fans, and I'm ok with that. We break down lots of the happenings in last week's episode and get a few thoughts from a non-book reader. Next week, we'll talk about some other shows as Game of Thrones is taking Memorial Day off.

7/29/14, Training Camp, Rookie Report, Poor Gladys
This week we're joined by our rookie expert, Shawn Foss, who provided plenty of insight regarding what to expect from rookies this upcoming season. Also, as is tradition, we enjoyed several great beers. First on the list was the Shoreline Discombobulation Celebration from 2011. Next up was Ruinten from Stone Brewing, my personal favorite of the night. Last of all was the Rhinelander Imperial Jack Double IPA.
Tonight we talked about some of the recent training camp stories, including Ray Rice, guys with new paper, Kyle Rudolph and the upcoming Hall of Fame game. We then picked Shawn's brain for some rookie knowledge. We brought up most of the rookies that have the potential to make an impact on this year and discussed their chances to be on your team this year.
Finally, we talked about HBO's "The Leftovers", which we're now halfway through season 1. I think we all agree that we like this show and will stick with it, but it's still universally seen as one of the most depressing shows going. Make sure to check out Dave's review of the episode here.

11/11/14, Trending! Julio Jones, Le'Veon Bell, DeAndre Hopkins and more..
Tonight on the show, we were joined by our rookie expert Shawn Foss. Shawn has joined us on and off this year, and his input is always valued. We enjoyed a bomber of the Abita Select Imperator Black IPA, Revolution Fistmas and Continuum IPA from Saugatuck Brewing Company, all of them excellent.
We continued to track trends and drank for last week's misses while assigning Shawn to drink for the audience. This week we have Cam Newton scoring over 13.34 points and continuing his upward trend. Julio Jones will easily score 12 or more against the Panthers. DeAndre Hopkins we split on, Dave and Jason saying he'll go less than 10, Shawn says he'll be over 10. Le'Veon Bell has been trending down - Dave and Shawn say that he'll go over 12 points (Shawn says he'll get that with yardage alone), I say he'll stay under 12 points. Finally, Ahmad Bradshaw has been trending down, to everyone's surprise - but everyone also agrees that he will reverse the trend and score over 12 points this week.

Feel that tingling sensation? It's just below your neck, next to your shoulder, you can barely reach it. It's the fantasy football itch! We've been without NFL games for over 3 months, and it's been almost 5 months since there's been any regular fantasy football leagues. It's time to talk fantasy football! This week we're joined by our resident Rookie Expert, Shawn Foss (@Shawn_Foss) and we discussed the brand new 2015 draft class.
Fantasy Football Podcast - May 13 - 2015 NFL Draft Class
Going by position, of course we started at the QB's, just like the NFL teams did. We broke down the possible fantasy impact from two top tier RB's drafted in the first half of the first round, much higher than any RB's have been taken in recent years. Finally, we dug through the incoming WR class. Mostly, we want to know if we'll be as impressed with the rookie WR's as we were last year!
