12/16/14, December 16 - Fantasy Championship Week, It's All Good
It’s championship week! Get HYPED! I’m talking the Mountain vs the Red Viper hyped. Hopefully your game has a happier ending though. This week Dave and I broke down some fun stories from across the NFL (staying mercifully away from Johnny Manziel). We hit Dave’s waiver wire picks, discussing the need for a handcuff to Demarco Murray due to his hand surgery this past Monday. (As of this posting, he has been practicing and is expected to play).
We also went over the trends that we looked at last week and predicted the track of new ones. We said Andrew Luck would stay up, Emmanuel Sanders will bounce back and put up points, Odell Beckham Jr. will continue his incredible production and should at least reach his season average of 15 pts against the Rams and finally, we picked Jeremy Hill as a candidate to stay hot, over Giovani Bernard.
Finally, we took a look at all of our season long bets. It’s time, or almost time, to pay up on most of them and the rest will have an exciting finish in store for them. Be sure to check back next week when we recap the fantasy season.

9/30/14, Navigating the Wire and Week 5 Matchups
It’s hard to believe we’re already 25% complete with the fantasy football season. After such a long wait to get started, the weeks are flying by. This week’s show featured some leftover craft beers from the weekend, including the Revolution Oktoberfest and the 80 Acre Hoppy Wheat beer from Boulevard Brewing Co. We started off the show going over some surprises from Week 4, including the revelation that is Jerick McKinnon and whether or not Martellus Bennett is the real deal.
We also resumed our degenerate ways by making not one, but two bets. The first bet is for beers for next week’s show – I picked the Bengals over the Patriots and am giving Dave 3.5 points (the Vegas line opened with -2.5 for the Pats – I’m so generous!). We are also betting on the production of Trent Richardson (Jason) vs Ahmad Bradshaw (Dave). The stakes will be a steak! This bet is only valid if everyone is healthy going in to the game.
Finally, we broke down the waiver pickups that you need this week and previewed week 5. We fielded questions from the peanut gallery, and if you want us to answer your lineup questions on air, just ask in the chat room or give us a call during the show.

11/26/14, Trends and Top Tens in Week 13
This week we had a big show, jam packed with good info. To start off, we changed it up and drank wine. No, no, that would never happen on this show. We did start right off with this weeks' waiver pickups. We then drank for last week's trends and predicted some new ones.
Ryan Tannehill has been trending up and Dave and I both think that he will score over 20 points this week. John Brown now has the official drinkfive.com fantasy fool's gold stamp - both of us think he will stay under 8 points. LeSean McCoy is heading up, we both say he'll score over 12 points. Dave added a bet for next week's beers - McCoy points for Jason vs Jordan Matthews points for Dave. Good luck buddy! Next is Frank Gore who has really been struggling. Dave and I both say that he'll score under 8.5 points. Dave went a step further saying that he'll never score over 12 points in his life again. Finally, Tim Wright is the biggest pickup of the week for Tight Ends, according to Yahoo stats. We both think he's fool's gold, Dave predicts, rather specifically, that he will be between 6.1 and 8 points, and I am going to go under 6.1.
To wrap up the show, we did the third quarter check in on the top 10 WR's and RB's. We compare them to their ADP, and then look at where the top 10 ADP wound up. After week 4 and 8, it looked like the WR's were a better value at the top of the draft. This time around, the RB's look way more consistent. Listen to the show for our take on this and check back after week 16 to get a final report card.

11/18/14, Approaching the Playoffs, Fantasy Trends
This week on the show, we enjoyed some fine scotch. Glenlivet 12 year to be exact, and a fine scotch it is. We started right into grading last week's trend predictions. Dave and I assigned plenty of drinks to the audience, and we drank a few for ourselves as well. On to this week's predictions:
Matt Stafford has been trending down, Dave and I split on him with Dave saying he'll go over 18 and I say he'll go under. Golden Tate's trend has mirrored Stafford's in many ways, and we've split on this player just like before. Dave says Tate will go over 11 and I say he'll stay under 11 points. Torrey Smith is the first player we agree on, both of us saying he'll go over 10 points. Andre Ellington was another split, Dave betting on the TD and going over 11, while I stay under 11 points. Mark Ingram we agreed on, both of us saying he'll stay under 14 points. Martellus Bennett is another guy who we think will continue his down trend, staying under 7 points.
You can check out our article breaking down all of the trends, and be sure to check in next week before the show to see the results. Finally this week, we talked about waiver wire pickups and answered some questions from the peanut gallery. Please keep the questions coming!
