Well the plan was to keep the week 13 momentum going into week 14. That…well that didn’t happen.
So now, we make a new momentum streak right? … … … RIGHT? I have (wait for it) confidence that we will do just that! (see…because it’s a confidence pool piece…trust me, it’s hilarious)
Week 15 – HERE WE GO!!!!
(HOME TEAM IN CAPS)
16 – NEW ORLEANS over New York Jets – The Jets have had a better than expected run this season…meaning they won more than no games. With Josh McCown’s broken hand though, they may be reverting back to pre-season expectations.
15 – JACKSONVILLE over Houston – DeShaun Watson would have made this a Game of the Week contender…Tom Savage would have given the Texans somewhat of a chance…soooooo yeah.
14 – WASHINGTON over Arizona – This season’s Cardinals team really makes me feel bad for Larry Fitzgerald.
13 – MINNESOTA over Cincinnati – A drubbing at home against the Bears should signal the end of the Marvin Lewis era…right?
12 – KANSAS CITY over Los Angeles Chargers – Welp, looks like the Chiefs have finally given us a reason to have confidence in them again. Lucky for them it’s during the two week period where they host their biggest division rivals.
11 – DETROIT over Chicago – We get Saturday football this week! And in doing so we get to get the game of the NFC North’s other two teams out of the way.
10 – Denver over INDIANAPOLIS – Don’t forget, the Broncos were a pretty solid team before Trevor Siemian went down.
9 – PITTSBURGH over New England – For Antonio Brown this year, a 125 yard game could very well be considered a bad game. My BOLD PREDICTION is that ANTONIO BROWN WILL HAVE ANOTHER 200 YARD GAME THIS WEEK.
8 – Baltimore over CLEVELAND – It would be pretty sweet for the Browns to get their first win of the season against their old franchise. Hey it could happ…no…no probably not.
7 – Philadelphia over NEW YORK GIANTS – The Eagles may take a step back after the injury to Carson Wentz. It just won’t be this week.
6 – BUFFALO over Miami – Jay Cutler outplayed Tom Brady last week. That should take care of his good play until about 2019.
5 – OAKLAND over Dallas – When this game was announced back in April it was tabbed as a potential Super Bowl preview. Aahhh…those were the good ol’ days!
4 – SEATTLE over Los Angeles Rams – The Rams missed a golden opportunity last week against Philly that they may not be able to come back from.
3 – CAROLINA over Green Bay –Welcome back Aaron Rodgers! Don’t think it will be enough to win in Charlotte the way the Panthers have been playing.
2 – SAN FRANCISCO over Tennessee – Three straight wins for the 49ers…that’s just weird.
1 – Atlanta over TAMPA BAY – Not that they are a bad team, but the Falcons seem to be a team where if you think they will win, keep them on a low line because you just never know.
For Fantasy Football team managers, playing in week 15 is all about making the right starts to get to the championship. Whether you fought hard to get into the playoffs from the bottom of the league or coasted into a bye spot early on, everyone is on an even playing field and (in most cases) only has one shot. We'll be paying special attention to the players that you should and shouldn't start in week 15 and what matchups to keep in mind should you make the championship game in Week 16. We're joined by regular guest and drinkfive.com contributor Mike Mocerino.
